Our Community Foundation hosted its annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony this spring, celebrating Daviess County students receiving scholarships through donor-established funds housed at the Foundation.
This year’s ceremony recognized graduating seniors pursuing degrees in fields ranging from nursing to engineering to the arts, each supported by scholarship funds set up by local families and businesses to invest directly in the next generation of Daviess County students.
“Watching these students walk across the stage, knowing a scholarship fund set up by someone in this community made their path a little easier — that’s what this Foundation is for,” said one scholarship fund donor in attendance.
The Foundation currently manages several named scholarship funds and welcomes inquiries from donors interested in establishing new ones.
