Our Community Foundation supports effective nonprofits and charitable work by providing funding and by providing expertise about Daviess County community needs.
We serve five communities across the county, each with its own character, its own needs, and its own strengths. Together, they make Daviess County a place worth investing in — today and forever.

Our Community Foundation’s Board of Directors and staff gain expertise about community needs in various ways. During Foundation meetings, we hold discussions of community needs and appropriate responses.
We also gain knowledge of community needs outside of these meetings through our community connections with family, friends, and organizational and work associates, and by participating in existing initiatives that align with the broader goal of a strong and vibrant Daviess County community in the Hoosier Uplands Region.
Through our discussions and participation, we are better positioned to connect and convene key partners to address various community needs.
